“Debbie is the best out there. She helped me TREMENDOUSLY after my daughter was born. She was a larger baby and I had a hard time finding a good latching position. She drove 45 minutes just to help me. Then when she came to visit me she told me we had thrush. I would have never known and just suffered through the pain not knowing. It was one of the most painful experiences ever, worse than giving birth. The support and care I received from her is irreplaceable. She was always available for the smallest questions and was so supportive. I never felt like I couldn’t push through my nursing issues with her by my side. Furthermore, I was able to push through the thrush and nurse my daughter for 18 months!”

“Debbie was so courteous and helped me tremendously with latching and pumping for my newborn. She quickly responded and came to my house the next day. She made herself available even while she was away out of town. Her background in pediatric Speech & language pathology made me feel even more secure answering my questions about bottle feeding as I returned to work. She is such an asset to SOMD!”

“The best of the best! Debbie came to me at my home the day I was discharged from the hospital. My baby was premature by 5 weeks and we were supplementing with formula per my doctor until my milk came in. I also don’t have the best nipples for breast feeding and baby was having issues latching. Debbie was amazing. She sized me for a nipple shield and we had baby latching and feeding within 10 minutes!!!! I was shocked and so relieved. I was scared it breastfeeding wouldn’t happen for me. She didn’t rush our visit. She stayed hours and walked me thru everything including pumping. She then returned the next day to help me with my morning feed as I was nervous because my husband wouldn’t be home. She offered so much support personally and professionally. I had to contact her at 8 weeks postpartum because one of my breasts became engorged and my milk wouldn’t come out. So so painful!!! She came right over within a few hours and did a massage with hot and cold compresses and worked with me for hours until we got the milk flowing again…Another relief!!! She also came back the next day to work with me again and make sure we were flowing steady again. I love that she keeps in contact and follows up a lot. She really cares and is so passionate about what she does. I can’t recommend her enough!!”

“Debbie has been an essential resource throughout my breastfeeding journey the last 4 years. Starting from my first pregnancy she helped me navigate tremendous nipple pains, provided immense knowledge of what to expect in my early days of breastfeeding, and has been an amazing support system. Debbie has always been available to answer any questions or concerns and provide assistance and advice. From my first daughter and her terribly painful latch, troubleshooting her insane reflux and my heavy letdown, to my second daughter and her bizarre food sensitivities. I happily recommend Debbie to anyone seeking lactation care!"

"My husband and I cannot thank Debbie enough for all the tips she has given us, especially being first-time parents. I had an emergency C-Section and was not as prepared to have my daughter Lila come early. Producing breastmilk and breastfeeding her was my priority and it was not what I had expected. My baby, Lila, had a difficult time latching and I didn’t know what to do. As a premature baby she would also always fall asleep during feedings and I was worried she wouldn’t get to eat well. All the tips given by Debbie were spot on. How to wake her up if she falls asleep on my breast, how to position her in my arms, how to make her latch better on me as both my nipples were different, and a lot more. Most of all, I am truly grateful for the emotional support and encouragement she has given my husband and I. That was the biggest motivation I had during this difficult stage. Lila was born prematurely and so I had a lot more questions on how to care for and nourish her. She always reminded me to take care of myself too. Living in the Philippines, I was so relieved that I didn’t have to panic looking for someone to talk to as the time difference worked well for us. I am happy to say that Lila has now gained 3 lbs in one month, feeding really well and we’re both happy. Could not have been where we are now without the help and encouragement we received from Debbie."
